O Funk na Caixa nasceu em 2010 com os objetivos de :

  • Queremos mostrar que o baile funk evoliu e não é mais, só aquele som regional das favelas do Rio de Janeiro.
  • Queremos mostrar o valor do Baile Funk, que é reconhecido mundialmente como a Musica Eletrônica Brasileira.
  • Queremos valorizar o som de produtores e dj’s do estilo, pois é um som que nasceu aqui e tende a crescer não só aqui, mas sim no mundo todo.

Agora em 2012, estamos com uma sólida formação e reconhecimento de produtores e djs. Vamos lançar mais músicas e coletâneas, visando o neo funk e as novidades globais. Continuaremos sendo um coletivo que divulga e promove o Neo Baile Funk, além de manter as notícias sobre o funk carioca e o funk de São Paulo, mas olharemos para a música como um todo, e não só para um estilo.

Funk na Caixa born in 2010 with this objectives:

  • We want to show that the baile funk Evolved, and not just one regional sound of the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
  • We want to show the value of Baile Funk, who is recognized worldwide as the Brazilian electronic music.
  • We appreciate the sound of producers and dj’s style as it is a sound that was born here and tends to grow not only here but worldwide.

Now in 2012, we are already have a solid training and recognition of producers and djs. We will start a kind of TV program to yotube to talk about the new songs on the national scene and some of the global scene too. We will release more music and compilations, aimed at neo funk and news global sound. We will keep being a collective that publishes and promotes Neo Funk, besides keeping the news about the funk of Rio de Janeiro and the funk of São Paulo, but looking to music as a whole, not just to one style.
